The much anticipated 2022 Irish L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final boasted a full house at Dublin’s Mansion House. This year marks the phenomenal milestone of over 5 decades of this iconic competition, the longest running live hairdressing competition of its kind in the world. Ever evolving and growing since 1966 when the L’Oréal Colour Trophy first launched in Ireland, the competition continues to grow and spotlight the talent of the industry across the whole breadth of Ireland.


The crème de la crème of the Irish hairdressing industry were out in force to compete against and support their colleagues for the fiercely contested Awards. Among those spotted on the night were Cathal and Richard Keaveney of Peter Mark, Dylan Bradshaw and his wife Charlotte, Mark O Keeffe of Brown Sugar, Anna and Suzanne McLoughlin of Komb Professional,Paul Davey as well as Angie Dromgoole and her husband Paul Dromgoole of Zeba.


The Breast Cancer Ireland ‘A Touch of Pink’ Lunch took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. The Fundraising Lunch saw almost 100 friends and supporters of the Breast Cancer Ireland community gather together in person for the first time in over two years to celebrate the milestones, treatment breakthroughs and research achievements of the charity to date and to help fundraise for further critical research, education and awareness programmes.


Guests enjoyed entertainment from the Pink Fizz Duo, an address by CEO Aisling Hurley in conversation with Elaine Crowley, Breast Cancer Ireland Ambassador, and a talk given by special guest Dr Clodagh Campbell, aka The Wellness Psychologist.


The annual Platinum VIP Style Awards took place at The Marker Hotel, Dublin. The best in Irish showbiz brought the glitz and glam, as well-known faces came from near and far to walk the red carpet.



The Awards, now in their 19th year, is the only national celebration of Irish style, and have grown in prominence over that time. Ireland's most fashionable celebrities, including presenter of tonight’s awards Doireann Garrihy, James Kavanagh, Pippa O’Connor Ormond, Morah, Bonnie and Babette Ryan, Rosanna Davison, Celia Holman Lee, Zara King, Holly Carpenter, Erica Cody, Suzanne Jackson and many more pulled out all the stops for the style event of the year. This year, over 250,000 votes were cast.
